Megan Mance, Executive Director, Homeland Security & Defense Forum

Megan Mance is the Executive Director of the Homeland Security and Defense Forum (HSDF), a position she has held since September 2012. In this capacity, Megan creates new and effective models for collaboration between the public and private sectors on homeland and national security issues, works closely with HSDF industry members to understand their priorities, and provides strategic guidance in executing the Forum’s programming.

In addition to her background collaborating with federal agencies and the contracting community, Megan also has experience internationally and at the state-level through her work in the Public Affairs Office at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain and as a legislative aide to Michigan State Senator Hansen Clarke.

Megan holds a M.A. in Government with focus on security studies from Johns Hopkins University. She is a graduate of James Madison College, Michigan State University with a B.A. in International Relations.
