Ms. Myers is the Acting Chief Information Officer (A/CIO) for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In the CIO role, she leads an Information Technology (IT) organization with over 400 federal employees and approximately 1,500 contractors, providing mission critical IT services for a law enforcement organization with over 20,000 employees. In her previous role as Deputy CIO (DCIO), Ms. Myers directed mutiple enterprise-wide IT activities including technical infrastructure, field operations, cyber security, information assurance, application development, enterprise architecture, telecommunications, and networking. She was responsible for the enhancement, modernization, and operation of over 230 systems used by ICE law enforcement personnel and other external entities.
Prior to joining the Senior Executive Service, Ms. Myers was Chief of the Solutions Delivery Division (SDD) supporting the mission of ICE in developing and acquiring new IT solutions as well as maintaining existing applications. In this position, she led efforts to modernize the ICE infrastructure by re-platforming five major applications and subsequently dispositioning two legacy mainframes, resulting in a savings of $7M in operating costs. Ms. Myers was also responsible for driving the expansion of cloud adoption with the migration of all DHS Data Center applications to the ICE cloud, avoiding more than $9M in hardware costs. Ms. Myers began her Federal Government career with ICE in 2009, as a Program Manager and later Branch Chief supporting the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) IT portfolio. Ms. Myers came to ICE from AT&T Government Solutions, where she was the Director of Civilian Programs leading business development and program management with agencies such as the Department of Justice and the U.S. Postal Service. Ms. Myers is certified as a Program Management Professional (PMP) by the Program Management Institute and as a Senior-Level Acquisition Program Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Computer Systems Management, both from the University of Maryland.
