As the Associate Director – Mission Engineering at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Carroll leads a talented division that delivers tools and solutions that enable our analysts and operators to protect our nation from cyber threats. He has over two decades of experience in security, privacy, and risk programs, spanning the military, government, and private sectors. Carroll is also a US Navy (Reserve) Information Warfare Officer, fully qualified in offensive and defensive cyber operations.
Carroll’s mission is to leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI-ML) to enhance cyber defense capabilities and empower teams to achieve their goals. He has extensive experience in collaborating with senior government and commercial stakeholders, as well as participating and contributing in several cross-government working groups, publications, and seminars on AI-ML, cloud, mobile, and virtual technologies.
