William Mayer currently serves as the SAIC Deputy Director leading delivery, operations, and innovation of the portfolio of targeting and analysis systems enabling CBP to safeguard our border, protect Americans, and facilitate lawful trade and travel. Prior to joining SAIC, he enjoyed a 25-year career as a United States Border Patrol Agent holding key assignments as an agent and manager along the southwest, northern and coastal borders. Additionally, he served at CBP’s National Targeting Center leading vetting, targeting and intelligence efforts during a time frame that saw historic migration and required innovative approaches to ensure agencies needs were maintained. Mr. Mayer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Urban and Public Affairs.
